London:
Hollywood heartthrob Hugh Jackman is reportedly in talks for a role in Snow White and the Huntsman after Viggo Mortensen dropped out of the project.
The 42-year-old actor is being considered for the titular role of the huntsman after Lord of the Rings star Mortensen backed out due to issues with the script, reported Contactmusic.
The X-Men actor will star opposite Lilly Collins and Charlize Theron in the forthcoming film, with producers Universal Studios keen to sign him to bring in further star power for the project.
Scheduled to go on the floors in mid-September, the film will see the classic fairytale retold as a man is sent to hunt the beauty by a wicked queen, only for him to turn and end up helping her escape.
While Collins, the daughter of singer Phil Collins will play Snow White, Oscar winning Theron will play the evil queen.
