London:
Actor Hugh Jackman injured himself in an attempt to play cricket during a time-out TV segment with co-Australian Shane Warne in the latest Ashes series.
The X-Men star turned up to watch the series in Melbourne on Sunday and decided to play with his cricket hero in between the game. The 42-year-old actor ended up hurting himself when one of Warne's balls hit him in the groin, reported Contactmusic.
The Australian actor's pride turned to pain with the injury, but was able to laugh off the incident in friendlybanter with the sportsman. "I didn't pick it," said Jackman, while Warne cheekily replied, "Don't rub 'em, count 'em."
This is Jackman's second injury after crashing into a lighting rig when a zip-wire stunt for Oprah Winfrey's TV show went wrong earlier this month.
