I told them that I would make them something very exotic.I cut pineapple into pieces and dipped them in melted chocolate and Milkmade and they thought I was Masterchef. I am a dhoka cook," Huma said.
Her father Saleem Qureshi owns a chain of restaurants and her mother is said to be a good cook. She says her family believes in hospitality and they love to feed people and see smile on their face when they eat good food.
"An interesting mix of Mughlai and Kashmiri cuisines is prepared at my home. My dad is in the hospitality industry. My mother is also a fantastic cook. People used to always come to my place to eat Mughlai food," said Huma.
The movie directed by Abhishek Chaubey also stars Madhuri Dixit and Huma calls the Dhak dhak girl lovely.
"I am doing a film called Dhed Ishqiya. It is scheduled to release in January... Madhuri is lovely. She is a wonderful co-star. I've always admired her. She is a very graceful woman. Both on and off screen. She is grounded and real and that makes her even more gorgeous," she said.
"If there is one thing I want to learn from her, it will be her dancing... and the way she smiles. If I can ever smile like that, I will be very happy," she added.
