Elizabeth Hurley is all set to play a negative role in NBC's 'Wonder Woman' pilot.
The actress is starring in a guest role in David E Kelley's reboot of the comic book character.
Hurley, who recently separated from her Indian husband Arun Nayar following rumours that she is dating cricketer Shane Warne, tweeted about her new assignment.
"Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait," Hurley tweeted.
The network declined to confirm the casting, but a source said there is a deal contingent on Hurley, who is British, obtaining a visa. The role will be as a guest star in the pilot, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Former 'Friday Night Lights' star Adrianne Palicki plays the new Wonder Woman, which is a retelling of the DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman (Palicki), a.k.a. Diana Prince, tries to balance her life as a vigilante crime fighter, a successful corporate executive and a modern woman.
