Veteran actor Annu Kapoor, whoessays the role of one of the seven husbands in VishalBharadwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf, says he accepts only thosefilms in which his character stands out, be it a big or smallbanner movie.
"I take up only those films where my character or roleis significant in terms of length, its importance and itshould be noticeable. I don't mind if it's a big or a smallbanner film," Annu told PTI.
Directed by Bharadwaj, Saat Khoon Maaf, is adark comedy, with Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.
"I feel my role in Saat Khoon Maaf is strong andsignificant and would surely get noticed," the TVhost-cum-actor said.
The 54-year-old actor essays the role of Kimmat Lal,an Inspector. "I play the fifth husband of Priyanka (Susanna)in the film. I get hooked up with the beauty of Susanna. Ijust know that Sussanna had got married earlier and her fourhusbands were killed."
Other husbands of the former Miss World in the filminclude Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, NeilNitin Mukesh, Russian actor Alexander Dyachenko and VivaanShah, son of Naseeruddin Shah.
The film, regarded to be a celluloid version of theRuskin Bond book Susanna's Seven Husbands, will hit cinemahouses on February 18 next year.
