Actor Johnny Depp says he was a horror film fan as a child. Depp, 48, who is famous for his dark and quirky portrayal of his various movie characters, said he remains inspired by his interest in scary movies, reported Showbiz spy.
"I certainly had this fascination with monsters and vampires, darkness, mystery and intrigue growing up. Then, asyou get older, you recognize the erotic nature of the vampire and the idea of the indeed," he said.
The Tourist star, who raises two kids with partner Vanessa Paradis, said that becoming a father finally made him happy.
"You feel empty. I was angry and frustrated until I started my own family and my first child was born. Until then I didn't really appreciate life the way I should have, but fortunately I woke up."
