Composer A.R.Rahman has quashed rumours that he put in a word for actor Prateik Babbar in upcoming film Ek Deewana Tha.
"There is no truth to the fact that I recommended Prateik for the movie. I think he is naturally talented as I previously worked with him in Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na. He is very charming and I think he has a great future," said Rahman.
In Ek Deewana Tha, Prateik has been cast opposite British model Amy Jackson. The film, directed by Gautham Menon, is a Hindi remake of his own Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
