Television star Karan Grover, whohas became the quintessential face of small screen in India,says he came into acting by chance.
The 29-year-old actor left his training of chemicalengineering and stepped into the showbiz four-years-ago.
"I don't like to plan my career and take unnecessarytensions. I am a happy-go-lucky person and I know that verywell that an acting job is full of uncertainty.
"Before getting into acting, I enrolled myself intochemical engineering but realised engineering is not my forteand I wanted to do something else," Karan said.
He is currently working in Rajshri Productions daily soapYahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli being aired on Zee TV. In theshow, he portrayed double role before the show took a newturn.
"I have always tried to give myself a different look inmy soaps. In this serial, I have played double role of twobrothers before the serial completed its 500 episodes. It wasa tough job because television is immediate and it gives youvery less time to prepare for your character," Karan said.
The serial has so far helped him to make his mark as ahousehold name in the small screen and has also poured manyawards in his kitty like Favorite Beta and Favourite PopularFace Male of the year.
"I feel humbled and motivated after getting those awards.But at the same time I also feel that I should work 24X7 tokeep up this tag," he added.
