I don't remember receiving the Oscar: Colin Firth

London: King's Speech star Colin Firthsays receiving the best actor Oscar was a numbing experienceand he does not have any memory of the proud moment.

The 51-year-old star does no remember accepting theGolden Globe and Oscar for his portrayal of George VI in theBritish drama, the Daily Mail reported.

"It has a slightly numbing effect...that's what'scompletely extraordinary but I think when major things happento us, whether good or bad, there's a slight shock," the actorsaid.

While accepting the Golden trophy this year, the actorhad joked, "I've a feeling my career's just peaked."Firth, however, feels that the win has given him morefreedom in his career.

"In terms of one's attitude to it, you can either see itas pressure to live up to something or as taking the pressureoff and going, 'Well, I've got that now. I'll do whatever thehell I please'. And that's a far more pleasant way to see it,"he said.
