Imran Khan praised Vishal Bharadwaj for being a calm and composed person and guiding him for his performance

Actor Imran Khan, who will be seenin a rustic avatar for the first time in director VishalBharadwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola wanted to back out ofthe movie, after he failed to deliver Haryanvi dialogues.
"While we were doing script reading for the first time Iwas unable to deliver dialogues in Haryanvi. It was all noteasy at all. I felt I made a mistake by agreeing to do thisfilm. I felt I should back out," he told reporters here.
"I told director Vishal Bharadwaj that I won't be able todo this. It was he who convinced me to do it. He had faith inme when I did not have faith in myself," he said.Imran had to work on his Haryanvi and his uncle AamirKhan had advised him.
"I remember Aamir telling me that I should go to Haryanafor six months, so that I get things in a more right andappropriate way. It was not feasible. Also, during Jaane TuYaa Jaane Naa he had told me to travel across India in a busfor a year. It was Abbas Tyrewala who told this was notpossible and that we should start shooting soon," Imran said.
"The role I am playing in this film is different fromwhat I have done earlier. We prepared for almosttwo-and-half-months. I feel the more we rehearse and preparefor the film, the better we perform," he said.

The movie which is scheduled to release on January 11,2013, stars Anushka Sharma opposite Imran, besides PankajKapoor and Shabana Azmi among others.
