
The 32-year-old actress, who tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in October last year, says she has friends outside Bollywood and she tries to keep her personal life separate from her work.

She comes from a film family andis married into another one but actress Kareena Kapoor saysshe endeavours to have a life outside the world of showbiz.
The 32-year-old actress, who tied the knot with actorSaif Ali Khan in October last year, says she has friendsoutside Bollywood and she tries to keep her personal lifeseparate from her work.
"The key is to realise that we are here to work in thisindustry. I'm not over-friendly with anyone, I don't get intoanyone's personal space because I don't want people to getinto mine. I have a life outside of films," Kareena told PTI.
Having faced huge media curiosity surrounding hermarriage to Saif, Kareena says she prefers her work to makemore news than her personal life.
"Some of my friends are from the industry but most ofthem are not. So that is a part of life that I cherish. I goto work and come back. I want to keep it like that - go towork, come home and let my work talk more than anything else,"she says.
Post marriage the actress has been super busy shootingfor brand endorsements while Saif has been shooting forBullet Raja.
"Saif has been shooting for Bullet Raja and I have shotfor Dabangg 2 song and promoted Talaash. I have alsoshot for eight brands since the wedding. We actors sign upbrands then we forget that we have to give them four days eachto shoot. I have been shooting every day. Work is my passionand Saif respects that," says Kareena.
Kareena, who did Dabangg 2 item number Fevicol for"good friend" Salman Khan, says she shares a warm relationshipwith the actor since the days her elder sister Karisma used towork with him.
"Salman and Karisma go back 12-16 years, they startedwith movies like Nishchay (1992) and I used to be on thesets. I was 8 or 9 years old then. He has that kind of lovefor me, as Karisma's younger sister. He was friendly during'Bodyguard' and he respects the kind of person that I am. Youcan see the warmth between us and that's what I love."
Salman's father, veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan hadspecially called Kareena to praise her performance as Rosie inher latest release Talaash.
"When a living legend like Salim saab, who has writtensuch great films and characters, calls you, it's somethingelse. In my decade long career, no one has given me thecompliment that he has for Talaash.
"He never called me after Jab We Met. He said I havebeen studying your work, I think you are one of the best thatwe have, so please continue doing such roles. That's a greatcompliment."
Ending the year with an Aamir-Khan starrer film, Kareenais set to begin 2013 with his nephew Imran Khan as well asPrakash Jha's Satyagraha.
"I ended the year with Aamir, I'm going to start the yearwith Imran. Life's always a full circle, I've got to work withboth. In January I start shooting for a film with Imran Khanand then I have Satyagraha with Ajay Devgn. We startshooting for that on February 1."
