Actress Sonam Kapoor who is currently living with her husband Anand Ahuja in London, opened up about how much she misses India in an Instagram post on Friday. The actress shared a picture of herself and Anand walking on the streets of London. The picture features the couple smiling as they look back while walking under an umbrella. In the caption of the post, the actress shared how she has been "craving to go back home" but at the same time she doesn't want to "diss" her new home which is London. Expressing how much she misses India, Sonam wrote: "I miss india so so much, and I've been craving to go back home and see my family and friends desperately. But I realise I might by dissing my new home a little bit that has given me so much including my beautiful husband, Anand Ahuja." In the rest of the caption, Sonam Kapoor quoted a write-up on London written by American writer and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson.

The 35-year-old actress' post received several comments including a comment each from her father, actor Anil Kapoor, mother Sunita Kapoor, and aunt Maheep Kapoor. Both Anil and Sunita wrote: "Miss you so much," in the comments section of the post. Sonam replied to her mom's comment and wrote: "Miss you so much Mama." Maheep Kapoor, on the other hand, dropped heart emojis, to which Sonam replied and wrote: "Maheep Love You."
This isn't the first time that Sonam Kapoor has expressed that she misses her family. Last month, Sonam shared a throwback picture of herself and her sister Rhea Kapoor on Instagram and wrote: "Miss this face."

Earlier on the occasion of Sunita Kapoor's 56th birthday on March 25, Sonam had shared an emotional post for her mother where she wrote: "Love you mama, I hope I see you and hug you soon.Miss you and love you lots. Happy happy birthday!"

On Thursday, Sonam's friend and fashion designer Masaba Gupta had shared an adorable post for her on Instagram sharing that she is missing her. Masaba shared a throwback picture of herself and Sonam on Instagram and wrote: "Just miss you Sonam Kapoor." Sonam dropped a comment on the post and wrote: "I miss you more."

Sonam Kapoor got married to Anand Ahuja in 2018. After staying with Anand in his South Delhi based house for some time, Sonam is currently living in London which is under lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of work, Sonam was last seen in 2019 film The Zoya Factor co-starring Dulquer Salmaan.
