Twilight star Kristen Stewart, whohas become the new face of Balenciaga's Florabotanicafragrance, says she never used to wear perfume.
The 22-year-old actress said she signed up the dealbecause she really wanted to work with designer NicolasGhesquiere, reported Femalefirst.
"I'm very lucky that I like the fragrance, because Iwould have done anything with Nicolas Ghesquiere. And I'm aterrible liar.
"On a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragranceis because you want to smell attractive. That in itself is apretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was.
I was never the one wearing my mom's perfume and trying to besexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing theopposite of that," she said.
Stewart said she loves the new fragrance because it is sonatural.
"There is something natural about it. It's very alive. Ithink that as a young person wearing it -- considering thatI've never worn a scent - it kind of puts you on this levelof, like, 'Whoa, check me out'."
