It is said a picture paints a thousand words. But a song paints a thousand words when it comes to rapper Eminem, who racked up as many as 1,560 words in just six minutes and four seconds in Rap God. That means Eminem mouthed an average of 4.28 words per second in the song, which released last year.
According to Billboard reports, Eminem has set a Guinness World Record for "Most words in a hit single" with his dexterous eighth album Marshall Mathers LP 2's track Rap God.
The song includes a verse about the Columbine High School massacre, which was earlier censored out from his song I'm Back from the first Marshall Mathers LP.
As of June 2014, Eminem is the second best-selling male artist of the Nielsen Soundscan era, the sixth best overall selling artist in the United States, and the best-selling hip-hop artist having sold 45,160,000 albums and 31 million digital singles.
There is no stopping this Slim Shady, who is gearing up for his new album Shady XV for its November 28 release.
Grammy winner Eminem is the newest entrant in the forthcoming Guinness Book of World Records edition. Apart from him, Metallica set a record for becoming the only band to have performed on all seven continents in the world. Singer Shakira garnered a world record for being the most "liked" person on Facebook and pop sensation Katy Perry is the musician with the most Twitter followers.
