London:
Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb, who is battling with liver cancer, says he is "on the road to recovery" after hospital treatment for an inflamed colon.
The 61-year-old musician rushed to the hospital on November 15 and fans across the globe poured in their prayers for his speedy recovery, The Sun online reported.
"It is humbling and I take your prayers and good wishes for my health very seriously. I believe because of you I will get well," he said.
Gibb, who has shocked fans with his gaunt appearance, was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The star cancelled a series of performances in Brazil this year on the advice of doctors. Last year he had surgery for a blocked intestine, the same condition that killed twin Maurice in 2003.
