IIFA: Priyanka to pay tribute to Rekha; Shahid turns South
Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra will pay tribute toveteran Bollywood actress Rekha, while Shahid Kapoor willperform on South songs at the IIFA awards this year.

Both the actors, who are gearing up for the release oftheir upcoming film, Teri Meri Kahani, will be performing atthe 13th IIFA awards to be held in Singapore from June 7 to 9.

"There are lot of South actors who are coming to IIFAthis year including Kamal Hassan. So this time I am goingdown South. I will be performing on old South songs. I wouldbe performing on one of the songs from Appu Raja. It is acool song, I am trying to learn the lyrics. It is my ode toSouth film industry," Shahid told reporters.

While, Priyanka would be paying tribute to Rekha, whowould be receiving the lifetime achievement award at IIFA.

"This year I would be paying tribute to Rekhaji. Icompletely love and adore her," Priyanka said.

Besides, this both Shahid and Priyanka, who would bepromoting their soon to be released film, Teri Meri Kahani,will also perform together on songs from this film. Teri MeriKahani directed by Kunal Kohli, is a love story depictingthree different eras - 1910, 1960 and 2012, is slated torelease on June 22.

This year, choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva willbe choreographing the dance moves for all those performing atIIFA including Shahid, Priyanka, Bipasha Basu, Sonakshi Sinha,Ranbir Kapoor and others. The award ceremony will be hosted byShahid and Farhan Akhtar.
