Deepika Padukone, who was her own competition at the IIFA Awards, has scooped Best Actress for Chennai Express. Deepika was also nominated for the films Goliyon Ki Rasleela- Ramleela and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani in the category. Deepika also won Entertainer of the Year. List of winners
Milkha Singh biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was the biggest winner of the evening scoring Best Film, Best Director for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Best Actor for Farhan Akhtar and Best Supporting Actress for Divya Dutt.
Aditya Roy Kapur won Best Supporting Actor for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Dhanush scored Best Debutant for Raanjhanaa and Arshad Warsi Best Comic Performance for Jolly LLB.
Rishi Kapoor won Best Negative Performance for D Day.
Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghishal won the playback awards for Aashiqui 2 which also took home Best Lyrics.
