The newlyweds were in Thailand, at an exclusive resort on an island called Khao Lak, an hour from Phuket.
According to source, "On his birthday, Avantika told Imran there would be a barbeque at the seaside with a live band performing for him. He had no clue that the band would be Strings and Imran ended up joining them on stage."
Khan, an avid Strings fan for many years, gushes, "It was one of the best birthdays I have had! Everyone seemed to know about it. What surprised me was that not a single murmur had reached my ears till that morning when I saw them on stage. We had a lot of fun listening to and jamming with them. What's really nice that I got to know them really well and am happy to say we really jammed well."
The band continued their stay with the newlyweds, family and friends, only leaving a couple of days later.
