Imran Khan was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara

Reacting to reports of differencesbetween him and producer Ekta Kapoor over marketing of OnceUpon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara, actor Imran Khan today said hebelieved in "intelligent" promotional strategies.
Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara (abbreviated asOUATIMD), showcasing the criminal gangster saga, was releasedon August 15.
Directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoorand Shobha Kapoor, this sequel to the 2010 film Once Upon ATime in Mumbaai, starred Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha andImran Khan in lead roles.
When asked about the difference over marketing of thefilm, Imran said, "There is no point speaking about what hashappened in the past. There is no point to dwell on the past.If you can't say good things then don't talk. A film should bepromoted aggressively but it should also be intelligent. Ibelieve in promoting films in intelligent way."
The apparent rift widened so much that Imran hasreportedly been replaced by Shahid Kapoor in Ekta's nextMilan Talkies, being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
Imran is looking forward to the release of KaranJohar's home production Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, where he ispaired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
"I am sure Karan will promote this film intelligentlyso I don't worry when I work with him," Imran said.
