Berlin:
Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali says it was "overwhelming" to announce the first show of his movie at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere.
Highway starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda premiered in the panorama section of the film festival on February 13.
"This is the first time that a movie of mine is at a film festival. I couldn't have asked for a better one. It was overwhelming to stand on stage at the Zoo Palast and announce the first show of Highway," Imtiaz Ali said in a statement.
Highway, produced by Window Seat Films and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, will release on February 21.
