The film has already won the Best Picture award at theBusan Film Festival and Imtiaz hopes it will find favour withviewers in India.

"After watching the film I realised it should reach themaximum audience. It's the most colorful way of showing thegoings on of an Indian village. It is meaningful as well as anentertaining film," Imtiaz said.

Dekh Indian Circus is the heartwarming tale of a mothertaking her children to the circus. It is Hadawale's secondfilm after his debut directorial Tingya won the NationalFilm Award for Best Child Artist.

"When you look at Indian films these days, most of themare very urban. It's ironic because the maximum populationlives in villages. This film is set in a small village in theoutskirts of Jaisalmer, representing the life there throughextraordinary performances and stunning visuals," said Imtiaz.

This is the first time that the Jab We Met director ispresenting a film he hasn't directed or produced.

"I am very embarrassed about my name being there as thepresenter. I don't know how much it will help the film but Iwas approached by the director and the producer who wanted meto be attached to the film. I hope it works because it's avery good film," said Imtiaz.

He is all praises about the film's lead actors TannisthaChatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

"Both of them have performed very well. I have seen Nawazplaying the lead in Gangs of Wasseypur also. He is a brilliantactor," he said.

"The emotional content and the human connect of DekhIndian Circus is what is going to work for the film," Imtiazadded.
