Mouni Roy has always been vocal about her love for vintage Bollywood music and movies. Therefore, when she got a chance to interact with Asha Bhosle, one of the most iconic singers that the country has witnessed, she had a thorough fan girl moment. Mouni Roy and Asha Bhosle interacted on the sets of the reality show, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters and the Naagin star described it to be a “dream come true meeting”. Mouni has shared a candid behind-the-scenes picture of the two artists immersed in conversation and penned a lovely note to describe her thoughts. Also seen in the background of the image is a portrait of the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who is Asha Bhosle's sister.
Speaking about the lovely moments spent with the veteran singer, Mouni Roy wrote, “Yesterday was a dream come true meeting and spending the day with you on DID sets Asha ji.” Needless to say, they also spoke about Lata Mangeshkar, who died in February, this year. “It was a musical day filled with your unbelievable voice, stories learnings yearnings remembering our nightingale Lata ma'am, she'll live in us forever; we love you both so much,” Mouni shared.
Replying to the post, Remo D'Souza – who also serves as a judge on the show alongside Mouni Roy – dropped a bunch of heart emoticons.
