As Magnificent Mary, Priyanka Chopra is the girl you don't want to mess with in the just released trailer of biopic Mary Kom.
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-produced film gives us a ringside view of Olympian Mary Kom's real-life journey from determined rustic to feted prizefighter. As played by Priyanka, the celluloid Mary is gritty, single-minded, bloody but unbowed before a hostile father, undefeated by those of little faith. All sinew and muscles, Priyanka juggles a desi accent with the physical challenges of playing a boxer.
The cast includes Nepali actor Sunil Thapa as Mary Kom's coach.
