Aamir Khan at an event in Mumbai.
New Delhi:
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is busy preparing for his upcoming film Dangal, in which he portrays the role of real life wrestler Mahavir Phogat. As the actor inches towards perfecting his look for the film (as expected), the makers have started scouting for actresses who will play the role of Mr Phogat's daughters, celebrated wrestlers Geeta and Babita.
Aamir, who launched the trailer of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Hollywood film Broken Horses in Mumbai on March 10, has beefed up his physique. His look also includes salt and pepper hair and stubble.
The actor will turn 50 on March 14, and, when reporters asked how it felt, quipped, "Arre, 50 saal ho gaye! Hadd ho gayi."
Aamir, who is a father of three - 23-year-old Junaid, 18-year-old Ira and three-year-old Azad - has in recent films played the love interest of actresses several years his junior. This will be his first role as an older mentor/father-figure.
Dangal, to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is slated to release later this year.
