New York: Pop star Madonna has sold her New York penthouse for a price much lower than the listed price to US-based Indian business tycoon Deepak Narula.
The 54-year-old bought the six-bedroom Harperley Hall house in Manhattan's Upper West Side in 2009 for a reported US 32.5 million dollars and spent millions more on renovating it.
The singer, however, was on the lookout for potential buyers for the property since November last year and reportedly on not finding many takers, she recently dropped the price to just US 20 million dollars, which was then bought by Narula, reports contactmusic.com.
According to the Wall Street Journal, she has agreed to hand over the keys to the businessman, who allegedly scored the property for "considerably less" than the asking price, which has not yet been revealed.
