New Delhi: The Bachchans' had a low-key Diwali celebration this year - it was a family-only affair at Jalsa with a simple puja on Thursday evening, glimpses of which are on Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter. Big B made two entries to his low-key Diwali 2017 album, along with wishes for his millions of fans and followers on Twitter. Aaradhya, seated on Aishwarya's lap with folded hands, is the star of the frame-worthy family photo. Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan also joined the rest of the family in the puja ghar. The Bachchans' abstained from grand Diwali celebrations this year because of the death of a family member earlier this year - Aishwarya's father Krishna Raj Rai died in February.
Inside the Bachchans' Diwali puja:
The Bachchans are known to host one of the biggest Diwali parties in the showbiz circle - their Diwali bashes have continued to remain red-letter days with the creme-de-la-creme of the film industry and celebrities from other walks of life pouring in. But the prayers and the other formalities shall prevail .. and the visits to other celebrations shall continue, and the love and affection within shall ever remain .. to hope to wish to acknowledge each other and gift them the joys of togetherness and happiness.. (sic)."
