Mumbai:
Actor Irrfan Khan said that he would not mind playing a 'heroine' in a film which also stars National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut.
Reports suggested that Irrfan, 49, and Kangana, 29, will star in director Sai Kabir's Divine Lovers. Kangana left the movie in December last year citing date issues. Now, Zarine Khan has replaced Kangana.
"I don't know if I would be able to do Divine Lovers or not as it comes and goes. Now, Kangana is out of reach. I am ok playing a heroine in a film, where Kangana would be the hero," Irrfan told reporters at the trailer launch of his new film Madaari.
Divine Lovers revolves around the lower middle-class section of society and is set in the heartland of India.
