Actor Irrfan Khan, who is currently shooting in Lithuania, will be juggling between shoots and different film festivals due to the world premiere of his film Talvar at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Talvar is based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case. The film will travel across various festivals. After TIFF, the film will be screened at the BFI London Festival for its European premiere followed by the Busan International Film Festival for its Asian premiere. "Talvar is close to my heart. The emotion of the film compelled me to do this one. I'm immensely proud to see that the film has received an amazing response before its release. We all are looking forward to the premiere," said Irrfan.
Talvar also stars Neeraj Kabi and Konkona Sen Sharma in pivotal roles. However, Tabu's character is yet to be revealed. The movie has been written by Vishal Bhardwaj, and is scheduled to release on October 2.
Irrfan, who will attend TIFF, has been requested to attend at all the film festivals for Talvar due to his international appeal. The actor is currently filming Hollywood film Inferno and is also gearing up for the release of Jazbaa, which is scheduled to release on October 9.
