Deepika's film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was produced by Karan Johar

Actress Deepika Padukone currently occupies the topmost spot on the Bollywood charts so it comes as no surprise that filmmakers are vying to cast her. Just a few days after Deepika chose her Ram-Leela director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani over Karan Johar's Shuddhi, the actress was spotted having a meal with KJo at a five star hotel in Mumbai. KJo is also reportedly all set to sign Deepika and actor Shahid Kapoor for his next home production which will be helmed by a new director.
Deepika last collaborated with Karan Johar in the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film was one of four back-to-back hits the actress delivered last year, the other three being Ram-Leela, Chennai Express and Race 2.
