New Delhi: A picture from the sets of Salman Khan's next film Tubelight was shared by director Kabir Khan on Independence Day. The image is simply a still from the film and features a soldier seen from behind. The background, which appears hazy and blurred, is actually the rocky terrains of Ladakh, where the film was being shot last week.

Team Tubelight has wrapped its Ladakh schedule, with a day to spare:
Tubelight reportedly deals with the Indo-Sino War of 1962. In June, Kabir Khan told PTI: "It is about a personal issue. Can't talk about what exactly right now. Needless to say my films always have a political backdrop to them because that's what excites me and I find real. So Tubelight also has a little political backdrop."
In Tubelight, Salman stars opposite Chinese celebrity Zhu Zhu, who is learning Hindi for her part in the film:
The 32-year-old actress, who featured in Hollywood films like The Man With The Iron Fists and Cloud Atlas, has also been sharing pictures from Ladakh on Instagram:
Tubelight is Salman Khan's third collaboration with Kabir Khan after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
