Anurag confessed his love for Kalki on Koffee With Karan
New Delhi:
Blame it on Bollywood but filmy happily-ever-afters have made us hopeless romantics and our hearts went out to director Anurag Kashyap when he told TV host Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan he "wasn't done" with estranged wife Kalki Koechlin. We weren't the only ones who found Anurag's confession sweet, Kalki later admitted that she had too. So we have our fingers crossed for some of tinsel town's recently truncated love stories and our hoping that for Anurag-Kalki and Hrithik Roshan-Sussanne Khan, picture abhi baaki hai.
However hopeful Anurag and Kalki's it's-not-over-till-it's-over vibe may make us, a reality check came our way with both estranged husband and wife reminding us that it was nobody's business but their's. Anurag told NDTV, "Love doesn't die away that quickly and respect also doesn't die away like that. Me and Kalki always had a strong bond and will continue to have a strong bond. It's nobody's business to know what is happening. She's not my enemy and we still know what is going on in each other's lives."
And while mutual respect is a great binding force, a shared family dynamic is equally important. Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan may be separated from each other, but they are clearly still attached to their in-laws. Hrithik played an uproarious Holi with Sussanne's sister Farah, brother Zayed and Zayed's wife Malaika. This, with the fact that there has been no mudslinging and the two have only spoken highly of each other since announcing the separation last year has probably made things easier for them. So while both Hrithik and Sussanne may be throwing themselves into their careers at the moment, it's quite clear that family is very much a priority and maybe shared priorities could help to make them a family once again. After all, a second chance at love is just one of the many dreams Bollywood peddles.
