Vidya Balan may have faked her pregnancy in Kahaani but if reports are to be believed, the actress is now expecting a visit from the stork for real.
Vidya's sartorial statements lately have been rather voluminous and have also spoken volumes. That combined with reports of the actress opting out of two films - Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh's Durga Rani Singh and Mohit Suri's Hamari Adhuri Kahaani - has our got us thinking that there is more to the loose clothes than just poor styling, especially since the actress shares a rather close relationship with Sujoy.
Rumours have been doing the rounds ever since Vidya was spotted at Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital. The actress laughed them off while promoting Shaadi Ke Side Effects promotions saying, "I'm not pregnant. I'd have to meet Siddharth to get pregnant! Jokes apart, I'm not yet ready to share Siddharth. Besides, I'm committed through this year, so motherhood will have to wait."
The last time an A-list actress (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) announced she was pregnant, a controversy erupted with Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar crying foul and saying he had been kept in the dark and subsequently dropping her from the project. But it seems that Vidya has planned well for parenthood. Bobby Jasoos was shot in one stretch from start to finish with a quick 45 day schedule and we're guessing that even with Sujoy's next thriller, Vidya has laid her cards on the table with the filmmaker. Kangana Ranaut will now reportedly step into Vidya's shoes.
So, Sujoy is still guaranteed a power house performance and Vidya could be gearing up for the role of her life.
