Mumbai:
Many would give their right hands to be a part of Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming sequel to Don, but actress Isha Koppikar, who was part of the original, obviously doesn't think like them.
"I'm not a part of Don 2 and I don't regret not being a part of it," Isha told reporters at the ongoing India International Jewellery Week (IIJW).
The actress walked the ramp for Kashi Jewellers, wearing a set of emeralds, rubies, diamonds and polkis.
The original Don that starred Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan released in 1978 and in 2006, Farhan Akhtar directed a remake of the film, where Isha essayed the role of Don's (Shah Rukh Khan) girlfriend Anita.
However, the actress was not offered a role in the sequel that is slated to release later this year.
Although Isha, who married longtime boyfriend Timmy Narang in 2009, could not secure a place in Don 2, the actress is excited about her upcoming release Shabri, a Ram Gopal Varma production that will hit the screens after a gap of five years.
"This film was made a couple of years back and now it is releasing. Better late than never. I'm very excited. Everyone has worked very hard on it and I'm glad it's releasing. The promotions have just started," said Isha.
"It's a gangster movie. It's about a spurned woman, who gets sandwiched between mafia and the police," she added.
The 34-year-old is also planning to venture into the hospitality sector.
"I'm also venturing into hospitality business because I want to do something more than just movies," she said.
