She is an Ishqoholic actress. Sonakshi Sinha, who is shooting the video of her first single on the sun-kissed beaches of Goa, made her presence felt at the 46th edition of the International Film Festival in Goa. (Also Read: Now, Sonakshi Sinha Turns Singer With Ishqoholic)
The actress, who was earlier filming Force 2 in Budapest, said, "This is my first festival and I am very happy with the way it's been organized."
Asked about the Bollywood presence at the show, the actress said she agreed with the fact that members of the fraternity should come for the festival.
Excited about her music video, Sonakshi revealed that after singing at the IIFA Awards and then for the film Tevar, "it was a niggling thought that I had to do this."
So, is an album on the cards?
"Yes, it would be the most natural thing to do," said Sonakshi.
The actress, who has done her first female-oriented film, AR Murugadoss's Akira, said that after constantly being badgered for doing performance-oriented roles she felt that 'this is my answer.'
And on the question of pay parity, the actress said, "Yes, there is talk of gender equality and if an actress to can rake in the same box office collections as the hero than why not."
