Mumbai:
Actors Dino Morea, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Milind Soman and squash player Ritwick Bhattacharya, the finalists of stunts reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, say being on the show hosted by actress Priyanka Chopra, has been one of a lifetime opportunity for them.
"It was a wonderful experience to be on the show. For me, it was not about getting my fears out but about being able to do the crazy activities that I won't be able to do anywhere else. It was one of a lifetime opportunity," Milind Soman, who was eliminated in the first round but came back later as a wild card entry, told IANS.
Dino Morea, who is a lot into sports and outdoor activities, echoed similar sentiments.
"The whole show is fantastic. Coming to a place like Brazil with a great bunch of guys and then doing stunts that you can't even think of ever doing was quite an experience. I loved it because I'm an adventure sports person, so I really enjoyed each and every part of the show," he said.
The show, which comes on Colors channel, started with 13 guys including Terence Lewis, Abhishek Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Cyrus Broacha, Karan Singh Grover, Rahul Bose, Rahul Dev, Manjot Singh and Arman Ebrahim besides the finalists, is a Indian version of Fear Factor, where the contestants have to do daredevil stunts to get over their fears and win the show.
The finale is on Thursday.
Apart from the show, the finalists also gave full marks to the host of the show, actress Priyanka Chopra.
"Priyanka is great. She is a good host and she really encouraged all of us to do our best," said Ritwick Bhattacharya.
Added Milind: "Priyanka is a very confident girl, pretty yet tomboyish which is an interesting facet of her personality, she did a good job."
In the four-week show, the contestants were subjected to various fearful stunts.
When asked which one did they find most unnerving, Dino said: "There is a stunt where we had to sit on the bull and do a stunt. That one was really crazy. Even if you take security measure, you don't know which way the animal will go. That one did scare me."
While Ritwick and Shabbir shared Dino's feeling, Milind was taken aback when he had to do a stunt locked in a small box.
"In that stunt, I thought I'll die of claustrophobia. That was too much for me to handle," he said.
While each one of them learnt something about themselves from the show, Shabbir, who is one of the strongest contenders on the show, realised that fear is nothing but a state of mind.
"When I came on board, I thought that during the course of it I'll find out what I'm scared of because I always thought that I'm only scared of god. But instead of that, I got to know that fear is nothing."
"It's just how you condition your mind. When you know that you have to do a particular stunt and you have to do it well, your entire focus is on that fact and then you forget where you are, what height, what conditions. As far as I am concerned, I learnt that," said Shabbir.
