Its celebration time for Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and wife Namrata Shirodkar who delivered a baby girl this (July 20, 2012) morning in Hyderabad, their second child. According to reports, both baby and mother are doing fine and the former actress will be discharged from hospital in a couple of days.
Former Miss India turned actress Namrata married Mahesh Babu in November 2005 in Mumbai after dating for five years. They were seen together in Telugu film Vamsi which became a box-office hit. The couple have a six-year-old son Gautam Krishna.
Reports suggest that Namrata Shirodkar has decided to bank her baby's stem cells in order to spread awareness about the benefits of stem cell banking. "It is a safeguard against diseases. And the fact that many celebrities are also doing so is an indication of the growth of knowledge and how high awareness levels are," she said in a recent interview to The Times of India newspaper.
