Team Bharat wrapped the film's shoot in Mumbai on Saturday and producer Atul Agnihotri posted post warp-up videos on his Instagram page. In one of the videos, Katrina Kaif, looking exhausted hugged Alvira (wife of Atul Agnihotri) and exclaimed, "It's a wrap." Sunil Grover and other team members (excluding main man Salman Khan) also said "it's a wrap" for the viewers. Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is based on Korean war drama An Ode to My Father, the rights of which were acquired by Atul Agnihotri. Bharat is the journey of the eponymous protagonist, therefore, Salman Khan will sport several different looks of varying age groups.
Atul Agnihotri also shared a clip from the teaser of Bharat to announce the film's wrap-up.

The aforementioned teaser of Bharat released on the Internet to tumultuous response in January. In the voiceover, Salman Khan says that he was named Bharat, after his country, by his father. Therefore, he doesn't give importance to questions about his cast, creed and religion. The filmmakers describe Bharat as the "journey of a man and a nation together."

A part of Bharat is set in the circus during the Sixties. Salman Khan plays the role of a daredevil stunt artiste while Disha Patani plays Salman's colleague. She is a trapeze artiste in the film.
Bharat also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sonali Kulkarni and it is expected to open in cinemas on Eid 2019.
