New Delhi:
The trailer of Salman Khan's much awaited film Sultan is all set to release this evening and as is expected from Salman's fans, there is at least one trend on social media which is talking about the same. 'Sultan Trailer Day' is one of the top trends on Twitter today.
The teaser which released in April was enough to get our attention, but it also left many questions unanswered.
Here's what we think the trailer may reveal this evening:
#1 How well Anushka has gripped the Haryanvi accent
We've seen Anushka's excellent 'Dhobi Pachad' moves in the stills from Sultan:
And we also know what Salman as Sultan sounds like. ICYMI, here's how Sultan wished 'his sultani' (PS: It's Sultana, Salman) on her birthday on May 1:
Now, we really want to know how well Anushka has gripped her character of a Haryanvi wrestler in the film.
#2 How Salman's film will be different from Aamir's Dangal
Salman's film averted a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees as the latter will now release in January next year. However, Sultan cannot avert a clash of subject with Aamir Khan's Dangal, which releases in December, this year.
Both films chronicle the stories of Haryanvi wrestlers. Aamir's story is a biography on Mahavir Phogat while Salman's Sultan is a fictional character. In theory, both films may seem different but will they be able to avoid imitation of themes and effects? This question may be answered in the trailer tonight.
#3 What will Sultan-Aarfa's romance be like
It is a season of fresh pairing in Bollywood and Sultan is no exception. Hours before releasing the film's trailer, director Ali Abbas Zafar teased fans with a new still from the film featuring Sultan and Aarfa:
Admit it. You want to know more about what it will be like to see Salman and Anushka romance onscreen.
Release the trailer already!
Sultan is produced by Yash Raj Films and it will hit the screens on Eid this year. The film also stars actors Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh.
