In his statement, Hrithik Roshan has attempted to disprove a lot of what Kangana Ranaut has said about him/them over the last few sordid months. He claims he never spent any time in private with his co-star of two films (Kites and Krishh 3), that his passport proves he wasn't in Paris proposing to Kangana when she claims he was, that the picture of them at a party that circulated last year was photoshopped, and that the 3,000-odd emails were 'one-sided.'
Twitter knows this much - the ballad of Hrithik and Kangana sounds a lot like the plot of Ittefaq, in which Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha, both accused of murder, offer different versions of what happened on a single fateful night. Akshaye Khanna is on hand to investigate in the film - sadly not in IRL.
#IttefaqTrailer is highly relatable to hritik & kangana controversy. Both have 2suspects,2versions & we kno real truth lies b/w his&her truth

"Between his truth and her truth lies the real truth" #IttefaqTrailer line suits most to the #hrithik #kangana controversy!!

#IttefaqTrailer The more baffling mystery is who is telling the truth - Hrithik Roshan or Kangana Ranaut ?

The 29-page police complaint filed on behalf of the Roshans by lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani went viral this week, as did excerpts from the Kangana's alleged emails to Hrithik. It's plainly more than just a particularly bad break-up and Twitter, for one, is over it.
Difficult to decide with the versions of both Hrithik & Kangana on the controversy. Although, one thing is confirmed - Krrish 3 was terrible!

I'm not a very spiritual person but I'm sincerely praying for this Hrithik-Kangana spat to end. Ab bas.

Kangana aur Hrithik case is more messy than my hair.

Modi had shorter explanation for GST and demonetization combined than Hrithik gave over Kangana..

It would have been easy to choose sides between Hrithik and Kangana, had we have known their Political affiliations.

Kangana : Issi ne kiya hai ye sab.
— Memesahaab (@memesahaab) October 5, 2017
Hrithik : Mene toh kuch kiya hi nahi.
ISIS : We take the responsibility for this.
Yaar can this Hrithik-Kangana spat be dealt with privately like all our miserable ones? Pakau!

Kangana Ranaut, winner of three National Awards, was last seen in Simran, a film that was controversial on several levels not least of which the explosive Hrithik-centred quotes that Kangana gave to several TV channels. Simran was poorly-received by both critics and the box office, though Kangana's performance was singled out for praise. Her last film Rangoon, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, was also a flop.
Ittefaq, meantime, releases on November 3. It is a remake of Yash Chopra's 1969 film of the same name starring Rajesh Khanna.
