New Delhi:
The trend of recreating old hit songs is still popular with the filmmakers. Now, the makers of Ittefaq are planning to redo Raat Baaki Baat Baaki from Amitabh Bachchan's Namak Halal for the film starring Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna, reports news agency PTI. It will be a promotional song as the film doesn't have songs in between. "It's a song-less film. We will have a promotional song but it won't be part of the film. We have got this song Raat Baaki Baat Baaki. It will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It's a promotional song and it will have Sidharth and Sonakshi in it. Beyond this we can't talk anything more," Juno, one of the co-producers, told PTI.
Ittefaq is a remake of Rajesh Khanna's 1979 film of the same name and the new version will be directed by Abhay Chopra, grandson of BR Chopra, who produced the original film. Ittefaq 2.0 will be co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and BR Films.
The makers of Ittefaq set the Internet on fire by releasing three posters of the film, one each of the three protagonists - Soankshi, Sidharth and Akshaye. In the posters, Sonakshi's character is accused of killing her husband while Sidharth's character is accused for his wife's murder. Akshaye's character has been entrusted with the task of finding out the truth. Of the three posters, Twitter loved Akshaye's introduction the best.

Ittefaq is releasing on November 3. This will be Akshaye, Sonakshi and Sidharth's second film of the year after MOM, Noor and A Gentleman.
