New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's much-awaited film Jab Harry Met Sejal hits the screens tomorrow (August 4). The Imtiaz Ali-directed film stars SRK as a tour guide, Harry while Anushka features as Sejal. The film's plot revolves around the love story of Punjabi munda Harry and Gujarati chhori Sejal. The trailer of the film and songs became immensely popular. Of the film, SRK earlier told news agency PTI, "The film travels a lot but it is not on travel. It's about a tourist guide, but it's a love story. Two people meet somehow, and somewhere down the line as they are moving around, they kind of fall in love."
Ahead of unveiling the trailer of the film, team Jab Harry Met Sejal introduced an interesting concept of releasing mini trails. Five mini trails of the film were released to introduce Harry and Sejal's characters. Of the concept, SRK said, "The whole idea of mini trails' is to introduce Harry and Sejal, the two players amidst the beautiful love story. These trails will serve as moments from their journey, which gradually lead to the bigger story that would unfold in the theatres."
Jab Harry Met Sejal has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with 'U/A' certificate and without audio cuts. CBFC chief Pahlaj Nahilani had earlier objected to the use of the word 'intercourse' in the film.
Jab Harry Met Sejal is extensively shot in Europe and India. It is Shah Rukh and Anushka's third film together. The name of the film was finalised after the actors had completed shooting. It was earlier tentatively titled The Ring or Rehnuma.
