Jacqueline Fernandez And Preity Zinta Added The Glam Quotient At Elton John's Oscar Party

It is the Oscar season in Hollywood and several prominent Bollywood names have been making a mark in international circles with their work. A case in point is actress Jacqueline Fernandez, whose film Tell It Like A Woman was nominated in the Best Original Song category for the track Applause (The award went to RRR's Naatu Naatu). As a result, the actress has been in LA for the last several days, celebrating the nomination and also attending a range of events – before and after the 95th Academy Awards ceremony. The actress, on Monday, shared a bunch of photos from the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. Dressed in a black and beige gown, Jacqueline Fernandez looks stunning (as always) in the photos. In the caption, Jacqueline Fernandez said, “At the Annual Academy Award Viewing party to benefit the Elton John AIDS foundation! #oscars2023 Congrats to all the winners." In the carousel of images, she has also added glimpses of the legendary Elton John as well as a selfie with actress Poorna Jagannathan.

In addition to Jacqueline Fernandez, actress Preity Zinta too attended the Oscar viewing party hosted by the foundation along with her husband Gene Goodenough. Preity also posted a bunch of social media updates from the party. Sharing a set of images in which she is dressed in a gorgeous black gown, Preity wrote, “Last night at the Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar Party.”

Preity Zinta also shared a selfie with her husband Gene Goodenough and said, “Party mei selfie pati parmeshwar ke saath. (A selfie with my beloved husband at the party).”

Sharing a fun video from the event, Preity Zinta said, “Last night there was so much to celebrate. My husband's birthday, two Indian productions winning an Oscar and so many people getting together to raise funds to help people living with HIV. I'm summing up this wholesome evening with one of my fav songs from Elton John over the years. Here's to believing in love, being in love and wanting to make the world a better place.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter,  the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party was first held in 1992 and continues to be one of Hollywood's longest-running Oscar parties. This year, the star-studded event has raised over $9 million in total for the foundation.
