Special packets would be prepared for packaging the paans that will make them look attractive.
Jaipur:
The famous paan prepared in the Rajasthan capital are likely to add royal flavour to Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding, which will reportedly take place in Mumbai on October 16.
Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar, a shop in the city, is said to have been approached by an event management company to supply a wide variety of paans for the wedding.
"We have been approached by an event management company to supply paans. We will be sending a few samples to them in a day or two and if everything goes fine, we have to send 500 special paans of about a dozen different qualities and flavours for the wedding," Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar's owner Annu Daswani, told IANS.
"It is an immense pride for us to supply paans during the most awaited wedding of this year," added Daswani.
Daswani also said that the paans with different flavours, including mango, orange, chocolate, strawberry and pineapple, will be wrapped up in gold and silver warq (thin foils).
"Special packets would be prepared for packaging the paans that will make them look attractive when they will be served to the guests at the wedding," said Daswani.
Each packet will have only five paans and the average cost of each paan is between Rs.150 to Rs.175, without transportation charges.
