London: British broadcaster Sky will launch anew channel in October to mark 50th anniversary of the Bondfranchise.
Sky Movies 007 which will be launched in October. Themove comes after Sky secured rights to all 22 original Bondfilms, as well as the two independent titles, Never Say NeverAgain and Casino Royale, in April, reported DailyTelegraph.
The channel, which will broadcast 24 hours a day fromOctober 5 until November 4, will also show a number ofBond-related programmes.
"The Bond movies are a very special franchise and we wantto ensure that our customers will be able to experience it ina way they've never been able to before," said Ian Lewis,director of Sky Movies.
