New York:
Oscar-nominated actor James Franco wants to film a real knife fighting scene between two gangs as a part of his next movie.
The '127 Hours' star is collaborating with director Harmony Korine for the daring project and hopes to catch some real-life street fight as part of the movie's climax, New York Post reported.
"I can confirm that there is indeed a piece of video art in the works involving gang fights by James and Harmony," a representative for Korine said.
But their bloody vision for the project has already left the producers worried.
"They are looking to film two actual street gangs doing a fight scene. The twist is they want the two gangs to fight, using real knives. The production team is panicked that they'll end up with blood, injuries and potentially dead bodies on set," a source said.
Korine is known for his controversial film work, including 1995 movie 'Kids', which traced teenage sex and violence and later gained a cult following with the release of 'Gummo', a story about a group of teen cat killers.
