And, our Bollywood celebrities aren't far behind. From Amitabh Bachchan to Shilpa Shetty, our favourite celebrities have extended their warmest greetings on Krishna Janmashtami 2022. Amitabh Bachchan has shared a photograph of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha on Twitter. Along with it, the veteran actor wrote, "Janmashtami mangalmaye ho. [Wishing you a happy Janmashtami]. ”

It is a working Janmashtami for Mouni Roy. The actress started the day by reciting one of her “favourite shlokas” from Bhagawat Gita. Sharing the video, Mouni wrote, “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare… Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Starting my working Janmashtami with the first time recitation from the Bhagawat Gita and one of my favourite shlokas.”
Shilpa Shetty gave us a sneak peek of her in-house Janmashtami celebrations. In the video, we can see the deity sitting amidst floral decoration. We can also post a variety of bhog items kept near the puja area. “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. Janmashtami ki shubhkaamnayein aap sabhi ko (Wishing you all a very happy Janmashtami),” the actress wrote.

Abhishek Bachchan has shared a clip to mark Krishna Janmashtami 2022.
Ajay Devgn's Janmashtami wish came with a Mahabharat connection. The actor wrote, “Jab Shree Krishna aapke sarathi ho, tab zindagi ki haar mushkil aasaan ho jati hai [When Lord Krishna is your charioteer, all the problems become easy to solve]”. During Mahabharat, it was Arjun who chose Lord Krishna as his sarathi.
Karisma Kapoor, Esha Deol, and Athiya Shetty have also wished their fans on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
Janmashtami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
