Actor Daniel Craig will notreturn in Viva La Madness, the sequel to Layer Cake, asJason Statham is reportedly replacing him.
The 46-year-old actor and his producing partner SteveChasman is believed to have obtained the rights to JJConnolly's crime novel on which the screenplay will be basedon, reported Deadline.
The Parker star is expected to play the same namelesscharacter who was trying to dodge the bullet at the end of thefirst film.
In the next chapter, the man is looking for a quiet placeon a beach to live. But his retirement plan is ruined when hegets involved with drug deals, money laundering and high-techelectronic fraud.
