Rap mogul Jay-Z hasteamed up with Will Smith and wife JadaPinkett for a new movie business venture which will have themwork on a remake of 'Annie'.
The rapper has joined the couple'sproduction company Overbook Entertainment to develop andproduce movies, reported Billboard.
The first one will be a remake of 'Annie', which willstar Will and Jada's 10-year-old daughter Willow.
"The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have aunified vision. We've already produced a Tony Award-winningplay and we're developing a true superstar in Willow. Thisventure into film development and production is a perfect nextstep with teams that are accomplished, creative, andinnovative," Jay-Z said.
The trio - who teamed up last year to bring hitmusical 'Fela!' to the Broadway stage - will co-produce thefilm.
'Whip My Hair' singer Willow is signed to Jay-Z'srecord label Roc Nation.
