Superstar Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya Bachchan, and daughter Shweta Nanda, are taking turns to take care of him at the hospital. Amitabh is recuperating after undergoing two abdominal surgeries on Saturday.
At first, Amitabh was due to be released on Monday, but it was delayed after he suffered acute pain.
He is on the fifth floor of the hospital, where son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai's baby girl was born last year.
The Bachchans have booked four consecutive rooms, costing 31,000 per day.
Several of Amitabh Bachchan's industry colleagues have paid him a visit, including Sanjay and Maanayata Dutt.
Yesterday, a very special visitor dropped by - his 3-month-old granddaughter.
