Los Angeles:
Actress Jennifer Garner is all set to portray Agatha Christie's famous sleuth Miss Marple in a new Disney movie.
One of the most famous creations by Christie, Marple was an elderly woman, who looked sweet and frail, but had a sharp woman mind behind her gentleness to uncover the mysteries and crimes.
The new adaptation is contemporary and Miss Marple has been given a younger look with Garner, which could be a female version of Warner Bros. Sherlock Holmes franchise.
Mark Frost will write the script that Garner and producing partner Juliana Janes will shepherd through their Vandalia Films shingle, Variety reported.
Garner will also be seen in the comedy Arthur opposite Russell Brand and Helen Mirren.
